Study Programs

The Foundation Program (FP) gives you an opportunity to deepen your understanding and experience of Buddha's teachings through the systematic study of six texts
by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

Foundation Program
with Gen Kelsang Tenzin

The six texts we study are:

~ The New Heart of Wisdom
~ How to Understand the Mind
~ Joyful Path of Good Fortune
~ Universal Compassion
~ The New Eight Steps to Happiness
~ Meaningful to Behold

In FP we study each of these books in great depth, guided in a close reading by our resident teacher, Gen Tenzin, and benefitting from the encouragement and support of our spiritual community.

Each FP class includes:

• Guided meditations and prayers
• Commentary to the text by the teacher
• Paired and group discussion
• Question & answer opportunities

Currently, we are studying the book Joyful Path of Good Fortune. This text provides a clear and comprehensive explanation of the commentary to Lamrim, offering us step-by-step guidance in the wisdom and meditation practices that lead to lasting inner peace and happiness.

This class is a monthly commitment and pre-registration is required. Anyone is welcome to join.
