Advice for a Meaningful Life

Mondays, 7 – 8:15pm

Drop in classes with Kelsang Rak-ma.

Each class is self-contained.  You can join any time.

Within Buddhism, our daily life can be roughly divided into two sections: The time when we are in formal meditation and the time when we are not in formal meditation. The division seems obvious, but one of the goals of Kadampa Buddhism is to deliberately integrate these two time periods. To facilitate such an integration, we have two beautiful texts that encapsulate the Kadampa Way of Life. One text, "Advice from Atisha's Heart," gives us practical guidelines for living a positive and healthy life. The other text, "The Three Principal Aspects of the Path," is a profound meditation guide on Buddha's essential teachings. In this series of classes, we will meditate on key concepts from these two texts and explore how to integrate our meditation experiences into the whole of our life.

Both texts can be found in the free e-book, "How to Transform Your Life."

These are drop-in classes so no need to pre-register. Since each class stands on its own, everyone is welcome to come at any time.
