The Uncommon Yoga of 

Inconceivability

 

The Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability is a superior transference of consciousness practice of Vajrayogini Tantra.  It is called an “uncommon yoga” because it is unique to the practice of the Highest Yoga Tantra Deity, Vajrayogini.  It is called “inconceivability” for two reasons:  first, because it has inconceivable meaning; and, second, because the practice gives us inconceivable meaning in this life and in all our future lives.

 

This practice is superior to powa practice, the practice of transference of consciousness to a Pure Land.  Why?  Because with the Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability, we can reach the Pure Land of Keajra without abandoning this human body.

 

In this retreat, we will explore the eight preparatory practices and the actual practice of the Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability.  The retreat will be based on the sadhanas, “The Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability” and “Keajra Heaven.”

 

*This retreat is open only to those who have received the Highest Yoga Tantra empowerments of Heruka and Vajrayogini, or to those with a strong wish to receive the empowerments at the NKT Fall Festival in Brazil in 2024.

Intro Talk 7 – 8:30pm

This talk will include a general introduction to the practice and a brief review of Ven. Geshe-la's teachings on the Uncommon Yoga of Inconceivability.  You do not need to attend in order to enjoy the retreat sessions on the weekend.
